Marketing Manchester needed support to develop a “Science Feast” concept, bring together partners, draft technical content and resources, deliver operations for the Allotment of the Future and facilitate public engagement science workshops.
As part of Manchester’s European City of Science Festival, the FoodSync team delivered public engagement consultancy around food science and sustainability for Marketing Manchester. FoodSync also assisted in bid writing and engaged a charitable conduit partner.
The successful weekend event - including hugely popular fermentation workshops in conjunction with Where The Light Gets In - proved to be a springboard for Greater Manchester food partnerships and has created a legacy of policy-making for the region.
