Flexible ‘street trading’ F&B

Client:
CBRE

Category:
Economic

Project timeline:
2 months

Developing a flexible F&B offer, with an urban/street feel, for CBRE

The Challenge:

CBRE needed a viability report for a street food offer in the town centre. Support was also needed to define trading parameters for ‘street food’ and identify viable operators, their offer and infrastructure requirements.

Our Response:

The FoodSync team carried out a location review to meet the core regeneration, animation and income generation objectives. FoodSync also detailed a potential management plan to deliver this operation.

The Outcome:

This project paved the way for Stockport’s Food and Drink Festival. Additionally, many of the insights gleaned were repurposed to help redevelop the town centre’s infrastructure and get a better understanding of utility requirements.

AT A GLANCE

£4.6m turnover of top street food venues
£25bn value of eating-out sector
1.46m people employed in eating-out sector
